In Texas, anyone who suspects that a child is being abused or neglected has a legal obligation to report it. This training helps caregivers understand what constitutes “reasonable cause” and the steps to take to report abuse, ensuring that children’s safety is prioritized. Professional reporters are required to file a report within 48 hours.

Sexual Abuse Training

This training covers topics related to sexual abuse, including:

• Sexual indecency, sexual assault, or aggravated sexual assault.
• Failing to make a reasonable effort to prevent sexual conduct with a child.
• Using a child to create obscene or pornographic material.

Caregivers will be equipped with knowledge to recognize, report, and prevent sexual abuse in foster care situations.

Form 2403 Training
